Action Required: Update OpenAI macOS Apps Before May 8

Following a recent security precaution communicated by OpenAI, the following macOS applications must be updated as soon as possible, and no later than May 8, 2026:

• ChatGPT Desktop: 1.2026.051 or later

• Codex App: 26.406.40811 or later

• Codex CLI: 0.119.0 or later

• Atlas: 1.2026.84.2 or later

For managed devices, ensure these updates are deployed via your device management tools.

This is a precautionary measure. No password or API key changes are required.
